Edgemere is an unincorporated community and census-designated place in Baltimore County, Maryland, United States. The population was 8,669 at the 2010 census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 20.6 square miles (53 km2), of which 10.8 square miles (28 km2) is land and 9.8 square miles (25 km2), or 47.47%, is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 9,248 people, 3,530 households, and 2,513 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 855.6 people per square mile (330.3/km²).
