Edewecht (Low German: Erwech) is a municipality in the Ammerland district, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated approximately 15 kilometres (9 miles) west of Oldenburg. It is the home of the company Meica which is known throughout Germany as a manufacturer of sausages.
