Eckles Township is a township in Beltrami County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 1,516 as of the 2010 census. Eckles Township was named for an early landowner and railroad promoter.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 32.1 square miles (83.2 km2), of which 31.6 square miles (81.9 km2) is land and 0.50 square miles (1.3 km2), or 1.54%, is water.

The city of Wilton and the west edge of the city of Bemidji are within this township geographically but are separate entities.

The township contains Eckles Cemetery.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1,033 people, 368 households, and 274 families residing in the township. The population density was 32.6 people per square mile (12.6/km²). There were 379 housing units at an average density of 12.0/sq mi (4.6/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 84.61% White, 0.10% African American, 10.94% Native American, 0.10% Asian, 0.10% from other races, and 4.16% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.74% of the population.

There were 368 households out of which 41.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.9% were married couples living together, 15.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.5% were non-families. 18.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.81 and the average family size was 3.15.
