Eastern Suburbs Association Football Club (ESAFC) is a semi-professional/professional association football club in Kohimarama, New Zealand. The club competes in the Stirling Sports Premiership (formerly known as the New Zealand Football Championship) which is the highest level of domestic football in the country.
Alongside their Stirling Sports Premiership club status, in the winter the club competes at the highest level of winter football in New Zealand, which is contested regionally, in the Lotto Sport Italia NRFL Premier League.
Eastern Suburbs was formed in 1934 as a result of the merger of Tamaki United AFC (formed 1924) and Glen Innes (formed 1930). One of the country's strongest clubs, it has won all major honours in the country, including winning the prestigious national Chatham Cup on six occasions.
Malcolm McPherson is the current Head Coach of the Eastern Suburbs Premier First Team while the Premier Reserves Team is coached by Tom Speers.
