East Hodge is a village in Jackson Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 366 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Ruston Micropolitan Statistical Area.

East Hodge is located at 32°16′37″N 92°42′54″W / 32.27694°N 92.71500°W / 32.27694; -92.71500 (32.277046, -92.714955).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.2 square miles (0.52 km2), all land.

As of the census of 2000, there were 366 people, 135 households, and 100 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,529.2 inhabitants per square mile (588.8/km²). There were 157 housing units at an average density of 656.0 per square mile (252.6/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 4.64% White, 95.08% African American and 0.27% Native American.

There were 135 households out of which 39.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 29.6% were married couples living together, 43.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.2% were non-families. 24.4% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.71 and the average family size was 3.22.
