The Continuous Optimization Working Group of EURO (also, EUROPT) is a working group whose objective is to promote original research in the field of continuous optimization at the European level. EUROPT is the unique European working group on continuous optimization. It is one of the largest working groups of EURO. It includes most of European researchers working on continuous optimization. Continuous optimization includes linear programming, convex optimization, global optimization
EUROPT is one of the working groups of EURO, the Association of European Operational Research Societies. The Group was founded in 2000 in occasion of the EURO XVII Conference in Budapest.

The group is suitable for people who are presently engaged in Continuous Optimization, either in theoretical aspects or in business, industry or public administration applications. Currently (2016), the group has over 1200 members.
Each year one fellowship is awarded to an outstanding researcher in the field. The winner is invited to deliver a plenary lecture at the annual workshop of the group. Past winners include Yaroslav D. Sergeyev, Panos Pardalos,Immanuel Bomze, Joaquim João Júdice, Juan Enrique Martinez-Legaz, Yurii Nesterov, Adil Bagirov, Cornelis Roos, Georg Still and Alexander Rubinov.
EUROPT holds conferences on a regular basis (once a year during summer, usually just before the main EURO conference).
