The ESP LTD "M-series" short for Mirage, are superstrat style solid body electric guitars manufactured by ESP.
All except one of the M-series guitars are manufactured in Indonesia, with only the M-400 model being manufactured in Korea. All the guitars in the series have the same general layout with 1 tone control, 1 volume control and a 3 way pickup selector. The ESP Standard Mirages however are instead manufactured in Japan and are more upmarket guitars.
LTD made the M-2 between 1995 and 1998. It was a super-strat with a full size humbucker at the bridge and a single coil sized blade humbucker at the neck and single volume control. Some LTD M-2s have two full sized humbuckers and two control knobs. The bridge was a Schaller made Floyd Rose licensed unit.
