Alfons Sauquet (ESADE Business School)
The Escola Superior d'Administració i Direcció d'Empreses (ESADE) is a Jesuit educational institution within the Ramon Llull University, in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. ESADE runs two schools of the university, ESADE Business School and ESADE Law School, as well as a language center, the ESADE Executive Language Center.
ESADE follows an applied teaching methodology, which is based on the development of professional and management skills with campuses in Barcelona Pedralbes, Barcelona Sant Cugat, Madrid, and Buenos Aires.
ESADE Business School is one of the best business schools in the world, according to numerous rankings. In 2006 and 2007 ESADE was listed as the world’s best business school by The Wall Street Journal. In 2012, the Financial Times (FT) ranking of the best European business schools ranks the school 5th of 80 selected top business schools. On top of that, ESADE Business School is ranked 13th worldwide in the eduniversal ranking. As one of 57 business schools worldwide, ESADE has been awarded the Triple accreditation by EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA.
ESADE has collaboration agreements with over 100 universities worldwide, among them the Wharton School, Cornell Law School, UC Berkeley, Emory University, Georgetown University and Northwestern Kellogg. The school has also formed a strategic alliance with the Ramon Llull University in its undergraduate programmes in Law and Business.
