Dutton is a town in Jackson County, Alabama, United States. It was incorporated in 1963. As of the 2010 census, the population of the town was 315, up from 310 in 2000. Dutton is located on top of Sand Mountain.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.9 square miles (2.3 km2), all land.

As of the census of 2000, there were 310 people, 120 households, and 87 families residing in the town. The population density was 360.6 people per square mile (139.2/km2). There were 137 housing units at an average density of 159.4 per square mile (61.5/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 97.10% White, 2.26% Native American, and 0.65% from two or more races. 0.65% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There were 120 households out of which 36.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.8% were married couples living together, 7.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 27.5% were non-families. 25.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
