Dunkard Township is a township in Greene County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,372 at the 2010 census.
Dunkard Township occupies the southeast corner of Greene County, bordered to the east by the Monongahela River, which forms the Fayette County line. The southern border of the township follows the Pennsylvania–West Virginia state line. Most of the township is drained by Dunkard Creek, an east-flowing tributary of the Monongahela. The southernmost part of the township is drained by smaller tributaries of the Monongahela, including Crooked Run. According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 31.9 square miles (82.5 km2), of which 31.6 square miles (81.8 km2) are land and 0.3 square miles (0.8 km2), or 0.93%, are water.
Bobtown is a census-designated place in Dunkard Township. Other unincorporated communities in the township are Davistown, Bald Hill, Taylortown, Walnut Hill, West Point Marion, Dilliner, Moffitt Sterling, and Newtown.
As of the census of 2000, there were 2,358 people, 967 households, and 672 families residing in the township. The population density was 74.5 people per square mile (28.8/km²). There were 1,073 housing units at an average density of 33.9/sq mi (13.1/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 98.85% White, 0.30% African American, 0.04% Native American, 0.21% Asian, and 0.59% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.64% of the population.
