Drăgănești-Olt (Romanian pronunciation: [drəɡəˌneʃtʲ ˈolt]) is a town in Olt County, southern Romania with a population of 12,195 as of 2002[update]. It lies on the left bank of the Olt River at an altitude of approximately 100 metres (330 ft). The first document mentioning it is from 1526. Drăgănești-Olt became a town in 1968. The town administers one village, Comani.
