Doukissa Nomikou (born November 7, 1986) is a Greek tv presenter & model. She represented her country in the Miss Universe 2007 pageant on May 28, 2007 in Mexico City, Mexico. At 20 years of age, she was crowned Miss Star Hellas.
Nomikou was born on November 7, 1986 in Marousi, a suburb of Athens to singer Nikos Nomikos and Ursula Nomikou (née Piperopoulou). Her mother is German-Greek and her father is from Sxoinousa island. She has one older brother, Nikitas who is economist. After school, she studied at Economical University of Athens where she in 2014. Along with her studies, Nomikou was a member of Cristy Crana's model agency.
During her studies at University, Nomikou began the photoshoots with Cristy Crana's model agency. On May 3, 2007 Nomikou was crowned Miss Star Hellas by ANT1's beauty competition. Then, on May 28, 2007 she represented her country in the Miss Universe 2007 pageant in Mexico City.
One of her first photoshoots was with Evangelia Aravani and Sakis Rouvas. In 2009, she was the ambassador of Veet creams & in 2014 worked with Johnson's Radiant Essentials.
She has entered the covers of many magazines such as the greek versions of Elle, Maddame Figaro, InStyle, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Celebrity etc. Also, she has been photographed for the American Esquire and the German Elle. Nomikou has participated in many campaigns by Greek designers such as her good Celia Kritharioti.
Since 2016 to today, Nomikou is the ambassador of JCOU Jwelleries/Watches.
During the 2008–2009 television season, she appeared with Nikos Papadakis on the show LifeStyle on Alter Channel. The next season she was a cast member of Omorfos kosmos to proi as co-presenter of Grigoris Arnaoutoglou with Katerina Kainourgiou, Dimitris Ouggarezos and Maria Arabatzi. In 2009, she did a guest appearance on the series I Polykatoikia. In 2010-2011 Nomikou was the presenter of green room on the talent show Just The 2 Of Us. On October 2011, she began to present the TV show LifeStyle but the project ended because of the channel's economic problems.
