Door Open at 8 am is an album by the Japanese noise musician Merzbow. It is from the Aqua Necromancer sessions, but samples jazz instead of progressive rock.
References include The Tony Williams Lifetime (whose "Vuelta Abajo" is sampled on track 2), Jimmy Garrison/Elvin Jones, and John Coltrane's The Africa/Brass Sessions, Volume 2 ("Africa" is sampled on track 6).
All music composed by Masami Akita.
