Below is a partial list of minor league baseball players of the minor league affiliates of the Arizona Diamondbacks:

Andury Junior Acevedo (born August 23, 1990) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization.

Acevedo signed as an international free agent with the New York Yankees as a shortstop. They converted him into a pitcher in 2012. He became a free agent after the 2015 season. The Cubs signed him to a major league contract, adding him to their 40-man roster to protect him from being eligible to be selected in the Rule 5 draft. He was released on July 4, 2017.

On August 5, 2017, Acevedo signed a minor league deal with the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Luis Alejandro Basabe (bah-sah'vay) (born August 26, 1996) is a second baseman who plays in the Arizona Diamondbacks Minor League system. Listed at 5' 10" (1.80 m), 160 lb. (73 k), he is a switch hitter and throws right handed.

In 2012, the Boston Red Sox made a pair of international signings that were unusual or uncommon to be true. The organization signed identical twins from Venezuela, both named Luis Basabe, both switch-hitters who throw righthanded, both were around the same size and weight, and each of whom signed for a $450,000 bonus when they turned 16 on August 26. Relatively new to baseball, the Basabe twins started to play the game a short time before signing, as they spent most of their childhood playing soccer. Luis Alejandro is a middle infielder with plus speed, an advanced glove and limited power but outstanding feel to reach first base without the benefit of a base hit. He also has shown better ability to manipulate the bat head than his brother, Luis Alexander, a speedy center fielder with a strong arm who has raw power and potential to add strength. They debuted with the Dominican Summer League Red Sox in its 2013 season.
