Desert View High School is a public high school located in southern Tucson, Arizona approximately 1 mile west of I-10 and Valencia Road.

Desert View High School opened in 1987 with 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grade classes.

The following courses are offered at Desert View for concurrent enrollment through Pima Community College:

Desert View offers a comprehensive college preparatory program. In the freshman year, students are encouraged to take the Freshman Honors Block, designed for college-bound students. Freshman English and World Cultures are interwoven to reinforce critical reading, writing and thinking strategies. Honors Biology is also offered to freshmen. Sophomores are encouraged to continue their preparation through honors courses in English and World History.

In addition to AFJROTC, Desert View provides opportunities in five career pathways:

Desert View boasts a ratio of one computer to every two students. In addition, there are six computer labs, a multimedia production lab, 90 laptops set up as PLATO Learning Centers, and 13 student computers in the Learning Resource Center.

The Digital Advantage is an educational program in the Sunnyside Unified district that allows its students to earn free new laptops. Many sponsors, such as Cox Cable, provided the money and support to do this. The Sunnyside Unified School District Governing Board Members required that all freshmen must achieve what is called the 4 A's:

Only two cohort classes were awarded free laptops, the classes of 2012 and 2013. Both events took place at Centennial Hall at The University of Arizona.

This program is similar to the Digital Advantage, but the Digital Advantage Scholars laptops are provided to only grades 10, 11 and 12. The requirements are stricter, with the minimum GPA set at 3.5.
