Demetrius Wright (born December 19, 1991) is a Canadian football safety for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He played college football for the USC Trojans.

Wright graduated in 2010 from Corona High School. As a senior defensive back and running back, he recorded 89 tackles with 1 sack, 5 deflections, 1 interception, 1 fumble recovery and 1 forced fumble on defense, and had 1,059 yards on 72 carries with 8 TDs and 10 receptions for 425 yards with 3 TD on offense. He was named an U.S. Army All-American Starter, a Super Prep All-American, Super Prep All-Farwest, Orange County Register Fab 15 first team, Long Beach Press-Telegram Best in the West, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, and Riverside Press-Enterprise All-Riverside.

Biography: U.S. Army All-American 2010 Demetrius Wright Jr. DB Corona Senior High School (CA) USC Wright is tall and has long arms, giving him the ability to press and jam receivers. He is a very active player on the field, and flies around before coming up to stop the run or drop and take away the deep ball. He does a good job staying low in his pedal, giving him the ability to quickly jump routes. Wright also received honors as an 2010 U.S. Army All-American for the West Team, where he announce USC as his college choice. At the USAAAB honors banquets, he was a finalist for the Glenn Davis Award. The award is given to player from the West team that exhibits high standards of athletic excellence, community service and education. One of the other four Davis nominees is CB Demetrius Wright of Corona, Calif., who visited UW and had been considering the Huskies but is expected to be announced during Saturday's game that he will attend USC. here are also four players nominated from the East team for the Doc Blanchard Award.

His senior year, As a junior in 2008, he made All-State Underclass third team, Riverside Press-Enterprise All-Riverside honorable mention and All-Big VIII League first team. He had 52 tackles, 3 interceptions, 13 deflections, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 forced fumble and 3 touchdowns on defense and had 450 yards on 62 carries (7.4 avg.) with 10 TDs on defense and 16 receptions for 225 yards (14.1 avg.) on offense in 2008. Current Trojan DeVante Wilson also prepped at Corona. Wright also was on Corona's track (best of 10.8 in the 100 meters and 22.7 in the 200) and wrestling (17-3 record in 2009 as a junior) teams.he received All Big VIII league first team honors, All CIFSS Inland Empire 1st team (defense), Preseason All Area football team (defense), ESPNU Top rated football Recruits(#60). Demetrius's brother is Undrafted,Rookie Free Agent Daiveun Curry-Chapman, who signed with the Arizona Cardinals in 2011. His skills earned him a full athletic scholarship to Northern Arizona University, where he was an All-Conference selection and led the Big Sky Conference in receptions in 2010. His successful collegiate accolades helped him sign an undrafted free agent contract with the Arizona Cardinals. At Northern Arizona University, Curry-Chapman saw action in 41 games with 19 starts for the Lumberjacks. He recorded 107 receptions for 1,066 yards and 13 touchdowns during h is career. He had a breakout season in 2010, earning All-Big Sky second team selection after leading the league in receptions per game with 6.3 (14th in FCS) and ranked sixth in receiving yards per game at 67.1 (47th in FCS). He led the team in receptions (69), receiving yards (738) and receiving touchdowns (6), recording back-to-back 100-yard games against Weber State and Portland State to end the season. Curry-Chapman was invited to the FCS Senior Bowl and Dixie Gridiron Classic that year.
