Delaware is a city in Delaware County, Iowa, United States. The population was 159 at the 2010 census.
Delaware was platted in 1860, shortly after the Dubuque and Pacific Railroad was built through the neighborhood.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.81 square miles (2.10 km2), of which, 0.80 square miles (2.07 km2) is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 km2) is water.
As of the census of 2010, there were 159 people, 82 households, and 41 families residing in the city. The population density was 198.8 inhabitants per square mile (76.8/km2). There were 85 housing units at an average density of 106.3 per square mile (41.0/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 99.4% White and 0.6% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.6% of the population.
There were 82 households of which 18.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 39.0% were married couples living together, 4.9% had a female householder with no husband present, 6.1% had a male householder with no wife present, and 50.0% were non-families. 40.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 18.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 1.94 and the average family size was 2.54.
