Dave McIntyre (born September 18, 1989), better known by his stage name DAVE MAC, is a Canadian actor, model and rapper from Port Perry, Ontario, Canada. Dave is the son of Deborah McIntyre and Joseph McIntyre, who was the former lead singer of '70's Canadian rock band "Yesteryear". Dave Mac released three mixtapes before dropping his debut E.P. titled "Sins" that received positive reviews despite being release completely independent.

Dave grew up in Port Perry, Ontario where he picked up rapping at the age of 15. Recording his own music with his dads old-school recording interface. Since then Mac has pursued a college education studying both at Loyalist College in Belleville, Ontario and Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario. Dave's father was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident involving a drunk driver. Mac uses this as motivation, turning his focus to music full-time and striving to deliver a positive message to the youth with each song.

Dave released "Turn My Back" which featured collaborations with Canadian hip hop artists such as Madchild, Swollen Members, Choclair, The Deans List, and Dilated Peoples. In addition to rapping he also is involved in other aspects of music such as producing, songwriting, and graphic design. Dave is back in the studio working on his second E.P. titled "Trouble", which will kick start his first ever solo tour. Dave has also taken rap outside the studio and hit the stage beside hip hop artists such as Machine Gun Kelly, Thrust, Sean Brown and Slaine. Mac is affiliated with Peter Jackson and 90 Nickel Entertainment, a company based out of Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. In this past year, Mac's main focus has been music videos and his upcoming album Trouble. Dave's latest release "Ed the Sock" features a Canadian Much Music television personality from the 1990's Ed the Sock. Dave is also working a full-time job five days a week for Buc union doing construction work with GWF installations & Starfab based out of Newmarket, Ontario
