Dartmouth Rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music that began in the Mid-1990s in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. With hazy origins, major influences on the Dartmouth sound are attributed to the works of Myles Goodwin of April Wine, as well as the great Matt Minglewood. Modern examples of the genre include Joel Plaskett, Matt Mays, and Adam Baldwin.
