Daniel Sam (born 13 August 1981) is an English super heavyweight kickboxer. Currently ranked UK number 1 in the division of Thai Boxing over Chris Knowles, he is signed to the SUPERKOMBAT and GLORY promotions. He is known for his flying knees, devastating low kicks and strong punches. As of 2 November 2015, he is ranked the #20 heavyweight in the world by GLORY.
He replaced Sergei Lascenko to fight Ismael Londt at the SUPERKOMBAT World Grand Prix 2012 Final Elimination on 10 November in Craiova, Romania and lost via TKO in round one when the doctor stopped him from fighting due a swollen eye.
He faced Ibrahim Aarab in a non-tournament bout at the SUPERKOMBAT World Grand Prix 2012 Final in Bucharest, Romania on 22 December 2012 and won by split decision after three tough rounds.
Sam defeated Singh Jaideep by way of unanimous decision at Glory 5: London in London, England on 23 March 2013.
He fought Anderson "Braddock" Silva at Glory 9: New York - 2013 95kg Slam in New York City on 22 June 2013, losing a unanimous decision.
Sam lost to Sergei Kharitonov by unanimous decision at Glory 11: Chicago - Heavyweight World Championship Tournament in Hoffman Estates, Illinois on 12 October 2013.
