DanceDanceRevolution (ダンスダンスレボリューション DansuDansuReboryūshon?), abbreviated as DDR, is a music video game, the 14th official iteration of the arcade series of Dance Dance Revolution, and the sequel to DanceDanceRevolution X3 vs. 2ndMIX. The game was revealed by Konami on October 24, 2012. Public beta testing commenced on October 26, 2012. It was released in Japan on March 14 and 21, 2013 for dedicated cabinets and upgrade kits, respectively, and in Asia on March 28, 2013.

In order to differentiate this arcade edition from the other arcade edition wherein both of them uses the same title, this will be referred to as DDR (2013 or 2014 edition), while the other one will be referred to as DDR 1st. There are also video game console editions using the same title; they will be referred to as DDR 1st for the original PlayStation edition and DDR (2010) for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii edition.

Along with the introduction of a new, white arcade cabinet (Third generation arcade cabinet), upgrade kits to change the edition of DDR from X3 vs 2ndMIX (or earlier) to 2013 edition are also available for their respective earlier generation of arcade cabinets.

Aside from the 2013 edition, the game also has a 2014 edition, which released in May 12, 2014 in Japan, and in July 22, 2014 in Asia. However, the 2014 edition can only be upgraded from 2013 edition via online method and has no upgrade kit.

A location test for an American release of the game took place in summer 2015 at various Round 1 and Dave & Buster's locations. The test was considered a success, paving the way for the game's successor to be given a release in the US.
