Danbury is a village in Red Willow County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 101 at the 2010 census.

A post office at Danbury was established in 1888. It was named after Danbury, Connecticut, the former hometown of the first postmaster. Danbury was incorporated as a village in 1898.

Danbury is located at 40°2′20″N 100°24′22″W / 40.03889°N 100.40611°W / 40.03889; -100.40611 (40.038756, -100.406129).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.32 square miles (0.83 km2), all of it land.

As of the census of 2010, there were 101 people, 50 households, and 31 families residing in the village. The population density was 315.6 inhabitants per square mile (121.9/km2). There were 61 housing units at an average density of 190.6 per square mile (73.6/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 99.0% White and 1.0% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.0% of the population.
