Dalton Gardens is a city in Kootenai County, Idaho, United States. It is considered a suburb of Coeur d'Alene, whose city boundaries border it to the south and west. It is one of several suburbs, along with the city of Hayden, to the north; the city of Hayden Lake to the north, and the city of Rathdrum to the west. The city of Dalton Gardens is also part of the larger Spokane-Coeur d'Alene Combined Metropolitan Statistical Area which encompasses Kootenai County, Idaho. The population of Dalton Gardens was 2,335 at the 2010 census.
