DABRI is a residential colony in South West Delhi. Currently this colony comes under Dwarka Vidhansabha constituency.
Dabri is strategically located and very well connected to other colonies of New Delhi such as Janakpuri, Vikaspuri, Palam, Dwarka Sub City, Delhi Cantonment as well as the Indira Gandhi International Airport & Gurgaon (via Dwarka Sub City).
Dabri is divided into smaller regions: Dabri Village, Syndicate Enclave, Raghu Nagar, Dabri Extension Main, Vaishali colony, Dabri Extension East, Dashrath puri, Durga Park, Sitapuri, Dabri Mor. There is a huge power distribution station (Electricity Grid) near this Colony and Dabri More on Pankha Road which is famous for its fresh Fruits and Vegetables market.
Dabri is made up of an estimated five percent Jat, 15 percent Pandit, 25 percent Rawa, 5 percent Scheduled Caste, 5 percent Scheduled tribe, 5 percent Uttarakhandi, five percent Yadav, 5 percent Punjabi, 30 percent Other Castes. Although it is a small colony but people from different parts of India live here. Population density mainly consist of people from Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Assam,and Bihar.
