D.Y. Patil College of Engineering and Technology, is an Engineering College located in an area called Kasaba Bavda in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, India.

The college was established by Padmashri recipient Dnyandeo Yashawantrao Patil in 1984.

It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), as well as the Department of Technical Education (DTE) of Maharashtra. It is affiliated with Shivaji University.

At present, the college awards the degree of Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in eight specializations.

The college was ranked 23 among engineering colleges in India by India Today in 2017 and 74 by Outlook India in 2016.

The undergraduate students at D.Y. Patil College of Engineering & Technology are chosen either by the Common Entrance Test (CET), management quota or by the Joint Entrance Examination (Main). Students for Architecture are admitted on the basis of entrance exams conducted by Council Of Architecture undertaken at the college campus itself. There are currently approximately 2000 students at the University.

The departments at the college organize curricular, extra-curricular and technical activities every year which attract participation from colleges in Maharashtra.
