Gopal (Sanskrit: गोपाल Gopāla, literally "cow protector") is the infant/child form of Lord Krishna, the Cowherd Boy who enchanted the Cowherd Maidens (Gopinis) with the divine sound of his flute, attracting even Kāmadeva (the Hindu god of love and passion). Historically one of the earliest forms of worship in Krishnaism or Vaishnava dharma, it is believed to be a key element of the early history of the worship of Krishna. This tradition is considered separately to other traditions that led to amalgamation at a later stage of historical development. Other traditions are Bhagavatism and the Cult of Bala Krishna, that along with the Cult of Krishna-Vasudeva form the basis of the current tradition of the monotheistic religion of Krishna.
In Hindu mythology about the Gods ; the Kid "Baal Gopal" (Baal or Bala means nascent form or new born or baby) is child Gopala or Lord Krishna's child hood and is worshipped across India.
It is widely accepted fact that the actions of kids create attractions among one and all. The beauty of childhood is being unaware of surrounding and the action a kid does.
But for a viewer these actions create love, passion and caring attitude by elders. The kids do mistakes that are unavoidable and may or may not be of a serious nature. But finally all is pardonable. As Gopal, Lord Krishna has reversed his actions and is doing actions as a kid just like we do actions in front of the Lord and in this way HE is teaching that as mortals we do similar mistakes some of which are pardonable and some of which are punishable and still HE gives ample time to correct these mistakes or sins so that we may be pure disciples of the God.
Lord Krishna as Bala Gopal did many mistakes to seek admiration and being a GOD did miracles to teach empathy and forgiveness. There are many stories of wonderful miraculous and innocent acts of Gopala, like stealing butter with friends or breaking the pots of Gopis and stealing clothes of Gopis when they were bathing in a pond or river.
But all stories have hidden message that body that we admire, look, fear or shy is not the real one but the soul behind it is the truth.
