Crystal Lakes is a census-designated place (CDP) in Clark County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,483 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Springfield, Ohio Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Crystal Lakes is located in southwestern Clark County in the southwestern part of Bethel Township. It is bordered on the west by the unincorporated community of Park Layne. Springfield is 13 miles (21 km) to the northeast, and Dayton is 15 miles (24 km) to the southwest.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 0.51 square miles (1.31 km2), of which 0.47 square miles (1.23 km2) is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 km2), or 6.21%, is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,411 people, 562 households, and 387 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 3,091.1 people per square mile (1,184.3/km2). There were 599 housing units at an average density of 1,312.2/sq mi (502.8/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 96.39% White, 0.35% African American, 0.43% Native American, 0.28% Asian, 1.28% from other races, and 1.28% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.34% of the population.
