Crossgates Mall is an upscale shopping mall located in the affluent Albany suburb of Guilderland, New York. The center opened on March 4, 1984, and in October 1994 underwent a large expansion that nearly doubled its size. Crossgates has a gross leasable area of 1,980,000 sq ft (184,000 m2) and features over 250 stores, services, and restaurants as well as an 18-screen IMAX Regal Cinema theater. The mall is anchored by JCPenney, Best Buy, Pottery Barn, Dick's Sporting Goods, Zara, The Apple Store, Macy's, and Lord & Taylor.
Crossgates Mall is the second-largest shopping mall in Upstate New York and the fourth-largest in the state, after Destiny USA, Roosevelt Field Mall and Palisades Center. The Pyramid Companies owns and manages the center as well as Crossgates Commons, a shopping plaza located on an adjoining property.
