Corofin (Irish: Cora Finne) is a village and parish in County Galway, Ireland, situated on the N17 road between Galway City and Tuam.

Corofin Castle is approximately 700 years old although is partly in ruins.

The local Gaelic football club, Corofin GAC, were All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship winners in 1998 and again in 2015. They have won 16 Galway Senior Football Championship titles: from 1932, 1946, 1977, 1991, 1993, 1995, 1997, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. Their team of the 1990s was the most successful, winning the county title five times and the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship. This was followed by five more wins during the 2000s (decade). They have gone on to win the Connacht Senior Football Championship on five occasions: 1991, 1995, 1997 (which led to the 1998 All Ireland title), 2008 and 2014 (which led to the 2015 All Ireland title) and 2016.

The Corofin Senior Team won the 1998 and 2015 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship, beating Slaughtneil from Derry GAA. The final score was 1-14 to 0-10. Man of the match went to Michál Lundy.

Corofin doesn't have a hurling team. Most people from Corofin would go to Sylane, Turloghmore or Abbeyknockmoy.

Corofin also has an athletics team, Corofin AC

A Corofin native, Bishop Patrick Duggan of Clonfert, declined the honour of being the first patron of the GAA, giving the honour to the younger man, Archbishop Thomas Croke of Cashel.
