MBK Entertainment (Hangul: MBK 엔터테인먼트), is a South Korean entertainment company established in 2007 by Kim Kwang-soo. The label was formerly known as Core Contents Media, established in January 9, 2007 as the entertainment division of CJ E&M Music Performance Division created after the acquisition of Poibos (in July 2006), MAXMP3 and Mediopia (in September 2006).
On October 1, 2014, it was announced that Core Contents Media had been acquired by MBK Co., Ltd. (formerly CS ELSOLAR Co., Ltd.) and renamed as MBK Entertainment. MBK is an abbreviation for "Music Beyond Korea".
Formerly home to ballad group Seeya and Davichi it's current home to k-pop artists such as T-ara, Nutaz, Shannon, HighBrow and DIA. It also manages veteran actor such as, Moon Hee-kyung.
