Uchenna Echeazu, better known by his stage name Conphidance, is an actor, writer, musician, comedian and producer. He began his entertainment career as a drummer and dancer. He is mostly known for his role as Okoye in the television series American Gods and recurring role as CJ in Complications, as well as a supporting role in the 2013 film The Sacrament.

Conphidance was born and raised in Nigeria. His family later moved to the United States. He is the younger brother to musician Olisaemeka "slashWisDom" Echeazu.

Conphidance attended the University of Florida, where he majored in biological engineering and minored in biomechanics and African studies, with a specialization in visual and performing arts. While there, he also served the president of the African Student Union for two years and was its dance choreographer for five years, and also wrote, directed, and acted in several plays.

Before becoming a full-time entertainer, Conphidance worked as a math teacher at Westlake High School in Atlanta, and also served as the assistant coach of the varsity boys' soccer team. He left teaching in the summer of 2010 to pursue acting full-time.

Conphidance played a supporting role in The Sacrament (2013), with Amy Seimetz, Kate Lyn Sheil, and Joe Swanberg, and Fist Fight (2017), opposite Ice Cube. He later appeared in an episode of the USA Network series Satisfaction.

Conphidance also played the recurring role of Curtis "CJ" James Thompson in Complications, another USA Network series, opposite Jason O'Mara and Chris Chalk. Later that year, he was cast in Survivor's Remorse opposite Tichina Arnold, Teyonah Parris, and Erica Ash. The following year, he guest-starred in Hidden America with Jonah Ray and played supporting roles in The Inspectors on CBS and Good Behavior on TNT.
