The Inspectors is an American crime drama television series that premiered on October 3, 2015 on CBS, much of which is filmed in, and around Charleston, SC. The series stars Jessica Lundy as a single-mom Postal Inspector who solves crimes relating to U.S. Postal Service Mail. The show also focuses on the personal life of her son, who became a paraplegic in the same crash that killed his postal inspector father. At the end of each episode, Lundy and the Chief U.S. Postal Inspector give viewers tips on how to avoid being a victim of a scam similar to the episode.
In the season one episode "Jersey Blues," Dan Marino makes a cameo appearance.
The half-hour series aired on Saturdays at 10:30am ET, beginning October 3, 2015, as part of the network's "Dream Team" Saturday morning block. As of March 2016, the show is airing new episodes on Saturdays at 11:00am EST. Season 2 premiered on October 1, 2016.
The Inspectors was nominated for six Daytime Emmy Awards for the 2015–16 season.
