Comneon was founded in 1991 and was a 100 percent subsidiary of Infineon Technologies AG. The company is based in Nuremberg, Germany, another site is located in Munich, Germany. The company employs approximately 400 employees. It is focussed on Software and Hardware development for mobile communications. As of August 30, 2010, Comneon was bought by Intel.
