Coimbatore North (State Assembly Constituency)

Coimbatore East is a legislative assembly constituency in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It covers parts of Coimbatore. Coimbatore East assembly constituency is a part of the Coimbatore parliamentary constituency. In 2009, it was renamed as Coimbatore North. Coimbatore (North) will be one of 17 assembly constituencies to have VVPAT facility with EVMs in Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election, 2016.
