Clarissa Bowers (born November 28, 1997) is an American actress, volleyball player, model and beauty pageant titleholder who won America's Miss World 2017 and will represent the United States at the Miss World 2017 pageant.
Bowers is currently obtaining a degree in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Raised in a military family, she plans to become a reconstructive surgeon for wounded and scarred soldiers. Her Beauty with a Purpose project is enabling baseball for disabled children and adults. She has volleyball as one of her hobbies.
Bowers was crowned America's Miss World 2017 on August 13, 2017 and now she will compete at Miss World 2017 pageant to be held on November 18, 2017 in Sanya, China.
Bowers will represent United States at Miss World 2017 where Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico will crown her successor at the end of the event.
