Chronology
Predecessor Chrysler minivans (S)
Successor Chrysler minivans (NS)

The AS-platform Chrysler minivans are a series of passenger minivans marketed by the Chrysler Corporation from model years 1991 to 1995, the second in six generations of Chrysler minivans. Depending on the market, these vans were known as the Plymouth Voyager, Dodge Caravan, Chrysler Town & Country and the Chrysler Voyager.

Introduced in November 1990, the AS Chrysler minivans used a modified version of the earlier S platform with entirely new bodies and interiors. They were available in three models, the Plymouth Voyager, Dodge Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country. As with the previous generation, the Caravan and Voyager were available in one three-door minivan body style in either short wheelbase models or long wheelbase models known as the Grand Voyager and Grand Caravan. The Chrysler Town & Country was only available in a long wheelbase version.

Trim levels were carried over from the previous generation. The Voyager and Caravan were available in base, mid-grade SE and high-end LE. The Caravan had a top of the line ES trim available on short and long wheelbase models, while the Voyager had a top of the line LX. Both came with the most standard equipment including alloy wheels, fog lamps, and wide array of power-operated features. The Town & Country was only available in one trim. Additionally, the Caravan was available in a cargo van model known as the Caravan C/V. As with the previous generation, the minivans were differentiated from each other in both trim and options. The Caravan and Voyager had different grilles, headlamps, taillamps and bumpers. The Chrysler Town & Country used the headlamps, taillamps and bumpers of the Voyager, but with a unique grille. Woodgrain trim was optional on all vans. The Town & Country was set apart on the exterior by its chrome (later body colored) waterfall grille, crystal pentastar hood ornament, body colored side mirrors, body side cladding, and unique alloy wheels.

The vans could be equipped with either 5-passenger or 7-passenger seating, as with the previous generation. A new feature for 1991 was available "Quad Command" seating, in which two bucket seats replaced the center bench, which was optional on SE and up trims. Also optional were "integrated child safety seats", in which the center part of the seats folded out to form a child safety seat with its own integral seat belt system. The Town & Country was only available with 7 passenger seating. Other new features included available All-wheel drive, an optional Bendix Anti-lock brakes system, and a driver's side airbag. As with the previous generation, the Chrysler Town & Country came standard with all the available options from the Caravan/Voyager, as well as unique features such as tufted leather seats, an Infinity sound system and a digital instrument cluster. It came standard with woodgrain panels on the side until 1992, when a no-cost woodgrain delete option which replaced it with a gold pinstripe, was introduced. The Dodge Caravan was exported to Europe, where it was sold as the Chrysler Voyager.
