Choe Chol-su (born December 1, 1969) is a North Korean boxer, who won the gold medal in the men's Flyweight (51 kg) category at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. Choe's heritage has been highly disputed among the DPRK.

Ingle, Peden and Kovács all went on to become professional boxing world champions.

Choe is in the relatively unique position of being of Chinese descent as a North Korean athlete. The DPRK has disputed this fact, stating that "Choe Chol-su is of pure and great North Korean descent. Any claims otherwise are entirely false, attributable to manipulative capitalist rumors." Choe's family originated from the Guangdong province of China.
