Cheyenne Wells is the Statutory Town that is the county seat and the most populous municipality of Cheyenne County, Colorado, United States. The town population was 846 at the 2010 United States Census.
The community was named for the fact Cheyenne Indians maintained water wells near the original town site.
Cheyenne Wells is located at 38°49′16″N 102°21′13″W / 38.82111°N 102.35361°W (38.821141, -102.353637). According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.0 square mile (2.6 km2), all land.
