Cherating

Cherating is a beach town in Pahang, Malaysia, located about 47 km north of Kuantan. Popular tourist attractions are the beautiful beaches along the Chendor Beach with many hotels and resorts. Cherating is also the location of Asia’s first Club Mediterranee ("Club Med").

Cherating has a cultural village which sells traditional textiles and handicrafts. There is turtle sanctuary located in Cherating's beach . The turtles lay their eggs in July and August.
