Cheongna

Cheong-na International City (also prounced Cheongla) is a development project within Seo-gu,Yeonhi-Dong Incheon, Korea. Cheong-na International City is built on a nearly two million square foot plot of land (5.38 million Korean pyong) that expects a maximum population of 90,000. Being developed in the center of international business and leisure, the city boasts an excellent coastal location that links Yeongjong Island and Incheon International Airport to Seoul via the Incheon International Airport Expressway, the Kyeong-in Expressway, the Incheon International Airport Railroad, and the Kyeong-in Ferry Line.

Among the city's first international complexes are GM Korea's Research and Development center, the only international school in Korea to be recognized as a domestic educational institution, the Cheong-na Dalton School, and Jack Nicholas' Bear's Best golf club — the world's third-ranking golf course after Summerlin and Atlanta.
Additionally, the city has scheduled other ambitious projects such as the iconic 450 meter-high CC Tower, the largest domestic lake park in Korea, an international business and finance center, a high-tech industrial complex, Robot Land Theme Park, an international science and research complex, a floral park, U-ECO City and Holy Land.
Hana Financial Group is planning to transfer its headquarters here to what will be called Hana Dream Town, and the expectation of a Shinsegae shopping complex is rising after the signing of agreements. Also, directly adjacent to the western industrial park, LG Group is aiming to construct its next-generation electric vehicle research facility by the end of 2012.
Cheongna International City is also famous for educational aspects. The famous Cheongna Dalton School which is a foreign school, is also located in Cheongna. Cheongna International City features many convenience facilities for residents, such as the 'Clean Net' automated high-tech waste disposal system. It is among the very few cities in Korea to have this infrastructure. The system consists of a disposal container that opens if a tag on the trash bag is scanned on the built-in scanner. The disposed items are sucked into underground pipes with vacuum technology, and transported automatically to commercial landfills.
Other amenities include the Cheongna Central Lake Park, which provides a link around the whole city. It is the hub for Cheongna's leisure and recreational activities. Cheongna International City boasts many high-tech and eco-friendly amenities.
