Chelčice is a village and municipality (obec) in Strakonice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 4.82 square kilometres (1.86 sq mi), and has a population of 427 (as at 28 August 2006).
Chelčice lies approximately 25 kilometres (16 mi) south-east of Strakonice, 29 km (18 mi) north-west of České Budějovice, and 110 km (68 mi) south of Prague.
