Casstown is a village in Miami County, Ohio, United States. The population was 267 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Casstown was originally called Trimmensburgh, and under the latter name was laid out in 1832 by one Mr. Trimmens, and named for him. The present name honors Lewis Cass, an American military officer, politician, and statesman. A post office called Casstown has been in operation since 1846.

Casstown is located at 40°3′9″N 84°7′39″W / 40.05250°N 84.12750°W / 40.05250; -84.12750 (40.052583, -84.127577).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.10 square miles (0.26 km2), all land.

As of the census of 2010, there were 267 people, 113 households, and 71 families residing in the village. The population density was 2,670.0 inhabitants per square mile (1,030.9/km2). There were 122 housing units at an average density of 1,220.0 per square mile (471.0/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 100.0% White.

There were 113 households of which 30.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.9% were married couples living together, 10.6% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.3% had a male householder with no wife present, and 37.2% were non-families. 34.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 14.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.36 and the average family size was 3.07.
