China Global Television Network (CGTN; Chinese: 中国环球电视网; pinyin: Zhōngguó Huánqiú Diànshì Wǎng), formerly CCTV International, is a multi-language, multi-platform media grouping a subsidiary of China Central Television (CCTV). It consists of six television channels – including a 24-hour English-language news channel – a video content provider and a digital media division. All six foreign language television channels under CCTV International were simultaneously relaunched at 4:00 am GMT (midday BJT), on December 31, 2016 to bear CGTN name.
CCTV PLUS was established in December,2016, is the video content provider operated by CGTN.
CGTN also delivers content across digital platforms: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube of CGTN, Weibo of CGTN(Chinese) and WeChat.
