C.I.A. (abbreviation for Cru' in Action!) was a hip hop group, which consisted of K-Dee, Sir Jinx and Ice Cube. The group began playing at parties organized by Dr. Dre, a member of a popular local hip-hop group called World Class Wreckin' Cru. C.I.A. was credited for backing vocals on the WCWC song "Cabbage Patch". Ice Cube and Dr. Dre later became members of gangsta rap pioneer group N.W.A. The only C.I.A. release came in 1987 entitled "My Posse", which was produced by Dr. Dre in a classic Roland TR-808 manner.
