Cássio Gabus Mendes (born August 29, 1961 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian actor.
He is the son of screenwriter, director, producer, sound designer, stage manager and author of telenovelas, Cassiano Gabus Mendes. He is the brother of actor Tato Gabus Mendes and married to former actress Lídia Brondi since 1990.
Debuted on TV in the novel Elas por Elas, in 1982. participated in the novels Ti Ti Ti,Vale Tudo,Tieta and A Indomada, among other. He served in the miniseries Anos Rebeldes,Mulher and O Quinto dos Infernos.
In the film, made Boleiros - Era Uma Vez o Futebol (1998) and Boleiros 2 - Vencedores e Vencidos (2006), both from Ugo Giorgetti. He also participated in the cast of Orfeu (1999), the Carlos Diegues,Como Fazer um Filme de Amor (2004), José Roberto Torero, and Trair e Coçar é Só Começar (2006), Moacyr Góes,Batismo de Sangue (2007) and Caixa Dois (2007).
