Bunch of Thoughts is one of the two controversial books written by M. S. Golwalkar, also referred to as Guruji, who was the second Sarsanghchalak (Supreme Leader) of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. This book was published in 1966.The RSS leaders Rajendra Singh and Bhaurao Deoras had made a joint statement in 1978 to the effect that Golwalkar's purpose of writing Bunch of Thoughts was:
to clarify and understand the true purpose, the exact nature, the ambit and scope of the RSS work...and its activities.
is to a very large extent only a myth in practice...The high-sounding concept of "individual freedom" only meant the freedom of those talented few to exploit the rest.
