Built to Last is the fourth full-length studio album and the second (and, thus far, final) major label release by American hardcore punk band, Sick of It All. It was released on East West Records – a subsidiary of the Warner Music Group – in February, 1997. Equal Vision Records held the rights to release it exclusively on vinyl.
Built to Last was the result of a year's work for Sick of It All, with pre-production beginning around late 1995/early 1996. The recording took place in Normandy Sound studio in Warren, Rhode Island (where their first three albums had been recorded) and in two studios in California.
