The Buffalo State Bengals football program is the intercollegiate American football team for Buffalo State College located in the U.S. state of New York. The team competes in the NCAA Division III and are members of the Empire 8. Buffalo State's first football team was fielded in 1980. The team plays its home games at the 3,000 seat Coyer Field in Buffalo, New York. The Bengals are coached by Jerry Boyes.
