Buenos Aires me mata (English language:Buenos Aires Kills Me) is a 1998 Argentine musical film drama directed and written by Beda Docampo Feijóo. The film was premièred on 13 August 1998 in Buenos Aires. The film stars Imanol Arias portraying a drag queen.
The story is centered in the life of three young people. Gonza, singer of a rock band, Sixto, son of a millionaire family and Piernitas, daughter of a civil employee of the government. They party regularly at Gay Night Club the Ship. There they intercross with the outlandish countess Pavlova (Imanol Arias, who is a transvestite) Laureano, (the yuppie who handles the premises) and Arteche (the manager of the band). All arrive at the ship convinced that this is their night. Some will discover that nothing can change their destiny.
