Bridgeland High School is a planned high school in the Bridgeland community in unincorporated Harris County, Texas, in the Houston metropolitan area. A part of the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District (CFISD), it is scheduled to open in August 2017.
Michael Smith is scheduled to be the first principal of Bridgeland High. As of 2017[update], he is the principal of Cy-Fair High School.
The opening will relieve Cypress Ranch High School.
It will occupy a campus located at Texas State Highway 99 (Grand Parkway) and Mason Road. It will have a four-story academic building and other structures that will total 573,460 square feet (53,276 m2). The cost will be $140.8 million.
It will be a part of an "Educational Village" that also will include Jim and Pam Wells Elementary School and a middle school. The high school will be the tallest structure in the complex.
